Maybe not quite brilliant, but bordering on it!

I read recently about a fellow who makes a list of ten ideas every day.  Some of the ideas were brilliant; others, maybe less so.  I don’t know that I want to do ideas every day, but I do want to do a list.  Topics will lean toward in a bookish direction, but you might be surprised at what I come up with.  I’m going to start with my ten favorite novels (subject to change, based on books I read {and reread}).

Ten Brilliant Books

  1. Persuasion by Jane Austen
  2. The Warden by Anthony Trollope
  3. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
  4. Little Women by Louisa Mae Alcott
  5. Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
  6. Bridget Jones’s Diary by Helen Fielding (yes, it is a lot like P&P)
  7. The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien (yes, it really is one book, in very long sections)
  8. Moby Dick by Herman Melville (seriously, yes)
  9. Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
  10. Giant by Edna Ferber
